The Honesdale Area Jaycees hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including a Canoe Race, Halloween Parade, Golf Tournament, Scholarship and Civic Awards, and Easter Egg Hunt. These events are designed to bring the community together and provide opportunities for fun and civic engagement while having fun!

The Honesdale Area Jaycees is a volunteer-based community service organization that aims to make a positive impact in the community. We are dedicated to organizing events and activities that foster community spirit, support local causes, and provide opportunities for personal and professional development. Our team is committed to creating memorable experiences and contributing to the betterment of the Honesdale area. As an organization, we are focused on promoting community engagement and creating a positive impact.
We strive to offer a wide range of events and services that cater to the diverse interests and needs of the community. Our dedicated team of young professionals aged 21-40 volunteers tirelessly to ensure that our events are well-organized, inclusive, and enjoyable for all participants. Our chapter was established in 1949 and is a branch of JCI USA which was established in 1915. JCI USA provides leadership development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change. JCI USA's Core Philosophy is to inspire confidence, unite communities, enhance equal opportunities, establish justice, embrace cultural diversity, and create sustainable impact.
